The Need for Precious Metals in Uncertain Times - Weekly Wrap Up (May 1, 2020)

Head Shot of Eric Sprott Weekly Wrap Up

May 1, 2020

As April comes to a close, it’s time to look ahead to earnings season for the mining shares. How does the sector stack up to others? Host Craig Hemke and Eric Sprott talk about the recent price moves and break down all the gold and silver news you need as we head into May.

In this edition of the Weekly Wrap-Up, you’ll hear:

  • The new concerns about having money in a bank
  • What to expect from earnings season
  • Plus: The “window of opportunity” in silver

“We get such conflicting data about what’s going on. I would say the biggest positive is that we keep getting these studies where—I think there was a study done in New York City with antibodies that showed that 14-21% of the people tested in certain places already had the virus. Which is to say that the denominator we’re using to calculate the morbidity is way understated. So, morbidity might be a lot less than we expect. And I’m kind of falling into that camp.”

Don’t miss a golden opportunity.
