Greece Government Preparing for Wealth Confiscation? - Nathan McDonald

Greece Government Preparing for Wealth Confiscation? - Nathan McDonald
By Nathan McDonald 3 years ago 2522 Views No comments

Nathan McDonald is a libertarian, entrepreneur and precious metals enthusiast. He has always taken a keen interest in free markets and economics since an early age, which naturally led him to become a true believer in precious metals and all that they stand for.

Nathan served eight years in the Royal Canadian Navy as an electronics technician, seeing the true state of the world, before starting his first successful business. He has since gone on to create a number of businesses, all of which are still in operation and growing.

In addition to this, Nathan runs a network of successful precious metals blogs, and a growing newsletter that has attracted readers from all around the world.

He is a regular and highlighted writer for the highly respected Sprott Money Blog, which covers world events, geopolitics and of course precious metals.

December 3, 2015

Governments and Central Banksters around the world have proven time and time again throughout history that they simply don't get it. They don't get economics, they don't get finance and they are so far out of touch with everyday people on the street that they don't get them either.

Once again, another government has proven this point. Greece, in what some are calling an early April Fools' joke, has mandated that ALL Greek citizens are to declare the valuables they own outside of the highly controlled and corrupt banking sector.

In particular, all citizens of Greece are to declare the following:

Cash "under the mattress" totalling 15,000 euros or more

• Jewellery, gemstones, diamonds, etc., of value

Whether they rent bank lockers or vaults

The above information (for anyone foolish enough to actually report it to the government), is to be entered through Taxisnet, their online tax authorities, on or before January 1st, 2016. Though you may be shaking your head in disbelief, I kid you not: this is no joke.

The country of Greece has been in a crisis for years now. It has held on by barely kicking the can down the road over and over again, but this can has now become so monstrous that the government knows it can't be kicked much farther.

The actions that the government of Greece is taking have been played out time and time again. They are the end game of a corrupt and desperate government that will soon be entering into a wealth confiscation cycle.

Fortunately, I highly doubt that many Greek citizens will follow this mandate, as they are aware of its intentions. They know exactly what's unfolding in their country, and they also know that this is no innocent collection of data.

This mandate is yet another sign that the end is near for Greece. At this point, the country is spinning so fast down the drain that it is just a blur, barely visible to the naked eye. The only question that now remains is, "Can they kick the can one last time?" We will find out soon enough.
