Sprott USA’s Rick Rule: “No Market Goes Straight to Heaven” - Weekly Wrap-Up (August 16, 2019)
By Craig Hemke 4 months ago 461595 Views 4 comments

August 16, 2019

It’s been another busy week in precious metals, and with Eric Sprott on vacation, host Craig Hemke brings in a big slugger to pinch hit. Renowned natural resource investor Rick Rule of Sprott USA joins us for a value-packed discussion of the week’s gold and silver news, including:

The information that’s so good, you should listen to it again

How to find silver plays in 2019

Plus: are you a Speculator or an Investor?

“I think you can’t NOT be excited. Particularly about the precious metals…. Eric and I, for years, have agreed on the slogan that ‘Bear markets are the authors of bull markets, and bull markets are the authors of bear markets.’ These are extremely cyclical businesses. And the bear market that we’ve just been through is really, truly one for the record books…. So, what you’ve seen so far, rather than being a rally, has been just a bit of a bounce from oversold levels.”

When Eric returns perhaps he could give us his thinking on Klondike Gold?

I'm not a Sprott. But I've been making a lot of money just listening to him. Klondike is one of my higher positions in the junior explorers. Really like Peter Tallman and the updates he's been giving with Jay Taylor. Those last drill results were very exciting. Between Lone Star and the Nugget Zone, their Yukon property could potentially be very rewarding.

I wonder if you could comment on spotgold discoveries spot.vn. Do you see AI in mining like new technologies have impacted the oil sector?
