The Thought Police Are Here to Save You From "Fake News" - Nathan McDonald

December 16, 2016

A term you heard used over and over again during the election, especially by the alt-left: "Fact check", "fact check", "fact check".

This term was thrown around wildly and used as a weapon by Hillary and her supporters as it was becoming increasingly more clear that they were losing the information war, a war that has been fought throughout the ages and will be fought as long as liberty lovers are willing to take a stand for what it right.

They began to use this term, because it was becoming glaringly obvious that the once mighty Mainstream Media was losing its grip over the masses and they were having less and less effect.

This topic was discussed at length by me and others on the Sprott Money Blog as it unfolded. The MSM's lies and deceptions that they were attempting to forcibly shove into our mouths was openly being rejected by those of us who could see them for what they were - biased propaganda.

The MSM, which overwhelmingly came out in support of Hillary Clinton via positive articles AND campaign donations, is now in its death throes, and as the historically accurate trends forecaster Gerald Celente points out, they will be dead within a matter of years.

Yet, this does not mean they will go down without a fight - no, this is to be expected. They have been dealt a major blow, as they openly showed their hands to the people and are now doubling down in their efforts via "fake news lists" and other thought police-style tactics.

Now, Facebook is joining the fight, as they were blamed, along with Twitter, for not doing enough in their efforts to circumvent the will of the people and prevent Donald Trump from winning the election.

Soon enough, they will begin labelling news through what they call "fact checking" websites, such as Snopes and other sources. Links, that they see fit as inappropriate or untrustworthy, will come along with a warning before you share them and will be buried in people's feeds.

Essentially what this means is that they will label anyone that doesn't agree with their far-left thinking of big government and a welfare state as "fake news".

Long have I called Facebook a censorious site, but this announcement takes it to a whole new level. This is George Orwell's 1984 coming to life.

It's time to reject and discard the corrupt social media sites now. It's time to put your money and your time where your mouth is. Don't fall victim to the thought police - the eternal fight for freedom and liberty goes on, as it always has, and as it always will.
