The War on Cash is a Global Trend That Must Be Resisted - Nathan McDonald

From the archives of sprott money news

December 8, 2016

The global elites have made it incredibly clear that they hate physical money. The war on cash has been something that many governments around the world have dabbled in. They have jawboned and talked about how physical cash is an evil thing - something dark and sinister, predominately used by drug dealers and money launderers.

This, of course, is simply an excuse that they use. Even though fiat money is a farce and one of the greatest scams ever orchestrated on the world, it is nonetheless the system we currently find ourselves living under and the least you can do is protect yourselves from it, as best as you possibly can.

The best way to do this is to invest in PHYSICAL precious metals - gold and silver bullion. Yet, it is impossible to entirely get away from fiat, as it is the standard form of payment that you need on a day to day basis.

Unfortunately, this fiat system we find ourselves under is even more of a scam than people realize, for long have we moved away from the physical cash based system we once had and into the magical realm of digital 0's and 1's.

The modern day fiat system we are now forced to live under is created entirely out of thin air. The financial elites have gotten so comfortable and lazy, they by and large don't even bother to create a physical form of the money we use to fuel our global economy. In fact, if everyone went to their banks and attempted to withdraw their money, they would quickly learn that only a small fraction would even be able to do so.

This is exactly where the elites want us, except for one minor detail. They want to ban physical cash entirely and enter into a new "age of enlightenment", in which we do away with that barbarous physical paper money and carry around shiny pieces of plastic with all our wealth stored on it.

But why? Why would they want this? And don't give me that BS excuse I previously mentioned. The real answer is simple and comes back to what every government in history has ever desired in the end: control.

By banning physical cash, as we have recently seen in India (one of the elites' favorite testing grounds), your government can have absolute and complete control over you.

By moving to a 100% digital-based money system, controlled from the top down, the government can monitor what you spend your money on, data-mine this information for whatever means they see fit and freeze your accounts if you displease them or step out of line.

I have written about this global war on cash for years. It is a trend that puppet masters want to see instilled at all cost. They know that the true power rests with those who control the money supply, above all else and will do everything they can to consolidate this power and gain complete and utter dominance over it.
